These are simple recipes you can make with the kiddos this Halloween weekend!
NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS CAKE POPS
1- Buy any box of cake mix that you prefer and white chocolate, sticks and vanilla icing ingredients
2- make homemade vanilla icing or buy some generic icing from the grocery store!
3- make the cake
4- let it cool, then add the cake crumbled up (this part is fun for the kids!) and add it into a bowl of icing and mix!
5- roll into balls and add a stick into the top of each ball
6- melt white chocolate and dip them in!
7- use edible black icing to draw on the faces!
8- Stick them into a styrofoam plate/surface and ENJOY!!!
LISA’S RAW BEEF RICE CRISPY SQUARES
1- buy your mini marshmallows, butter, rice crispies cereal and red dye!
2 – make your rice crispy squares as usual but add red dye
3 – add it to a pan, let it cool, cut it into squares and watch people gag as they eat these lol
DRACULA MOUTH COOKIES
These are SUPER easy. All you have to do is bake cookies of any type, then put a layer of red icing in between them, plus lined mini marshmallows to mimic teeth with 2 slivered almonds as the fangs!
Here’s a link to try these out: https://www.bhg.com/recipe/dracula-mouth-cookies/
Literally just wrapping hot dogs in pilsbury dough to mimic a mummy, and put some edibles peaking through some of the dough. You can use mustard dots as eyes!
HOCUS POCUS BROWNIES
These were brought to my Halloween party last year and they were a HIT. Just make boxed brownies and add an eyeball to one side of each of them!
