New Taylor Swift Album is Coming!

It’s been confirmed, Taylor Swift… is coming out with a NEW ALBUM!! It’s called The Tortured Poets Department.

As big of a Swiftie as I am, I think it might need a minute to remember the name of this one. I keep wanting to call it the dead poets society. It just feels natural for some reason. Anyway, Just by the album cover, and the overall vibe I’m getting, this might be my new favorite album, but I guess only time will tell. I’m hoping it’s similar to Folklore/ Evermore when it comes to the lyrical content. Something that will have me with a thesaurus in hand as I’m listening through. I’m someone that is huge on poetry/lyrics over anything else!

Now, let’s talk moments leading up to the announcement! If you’re a big Swiftie then you probably also thought she was going to announce Reputation (Taylor’s Version) last night at the GRAMMYs. She was wearing black and white, she had on a clock necklace. It all made sense. Plus, before the big drop, her website was down! If you unscrambled the letters in the error, it spelled out, Red Herring, which means, “a clue or piece of information that is, or is intended to be, misleading or distracting.” THAT IS REPUTATION VIBES?! IS IT NOT? Or maybe, this new album is the red herring. Then the added, DPT: 321 aka Tortured Poets Department. It was right in front of us all along!!

I will admit, I was so shocked. I literally ran to my boyfriend in the other room screaming, “ CURTIS, THE SWIFTIES WERE KINDA RIGHT!!!,” all the way down the hallway. He was probably like, “what is going on? Are you okay?” Then I called my dad and my besties. I already have an album listening party for April 19th planned. It might not have been what we thought but this is still HUGE and I’m so here for it.
