So get this—Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were spotted having dinner together in Montreal. Yup. “Bon appétit” indeed—because apparently, they were chowing down at a super swanky spot called Le Violon.

Now, I’m not saying it was a date… but they were sipping cocktails, sharing lobster, and leaning in close like two people trying to whisper sweet nothings over a $40 appetizer. I don’t even lean in that far when someone’s offering me a bite of poutine.
Eyewitnesses say there were security guards at the bar, watching the whole thing through mirrored glass. Which, I gotta say, feels very James Bond meets Gossip Girl. I mean, imagine being the guy who’s like, “Yeah, I protect world leaders… and also Katy Perry.”
Apparently, after the meal, they even went to the kitchen to thank the chefs. Meanwhile, I can’t even get my kid to thank me for microwaving Kraft Dinner.
Katy’s currently touring across Canada —and yes, she is living her best single life post-Orlando Bloom. Justin’s also single since splitting from Sophie in 2023.
So was it a date? Was it just two celebs talking world peace and dessert menus? Who knows. But hey… c’est la vie, baby.
