But will it be my last?
Best part of this? Hearing Ryder’s daughter say “I think i’ll run the 5K next year”.
Being able to inspire young women or girls to get out there and try their best is so rewarding! The blisters on my feet and the lack of being able to walk at a normal pace is concerning but also this pain is full of pride! Shout out to the amazing staff, volunteers and supporters at the Edmonton Marathon over the weekend. Losing this bet against Ryder ended up allowing me to try something new and surprise myself during the process.
They always say that once you cross the finish line you say “never doing this again” but then you find yourself signing up next year to try to beat your time.
Call me Stone Cold Lisa Evans cause my time was 3:16 LOL!!! Check out the video breakdown of what it was like to run 21km here:
@thelisaevans If I can do it SO CAN YOU. #halfmarathon #edmontonmarathon
